What did God make you for?
a Mediocre LIFE or a Magnificent LIFE?
Which life do you want to live?
an Immobile LIFE or a Moving LIFE?
Why do we resist the magnificent monuments of the provision that God has for us?
Why do we settle in and get cozy with mediocre moments of life?
Thank YOU for the photo insert: http://www.chattingatthesky.com/2011/03/24/14-ways-to-make-mediocre-art/ for your art that is exceptionally magnificent and Jesus focused.
When you are done, your life on Earth complete, do you want your life to have been “so-so” or “woo-hoo”?
Do you want to leave an “okay” legacy or an “a-ha” impact?
Does your magnificent life look just like mine?
Does my magnificent life in Jesus resemble my parents’ lives? Or my kids? Or my siblings?
It might. And, it might not.
God’s big enough to have Magnificent plans for each one of His kids. Don’t you have great plans for your kids? Or for your friends?
Why wouldn’t God have even bigger ones than, for YOU?
If in fact your heart’s desire is to live life for Jesus, and to play a big game for Him here on Earth, for the impact of eternity to be greater -does God have for you – magnificence OR mediocrity – His glory on display OR your hiding it under a bushel?
There’s a thief. And he has a plan. His greatest desire for you is mediocrity.
If nobody ever sees, hears, or feels the impact of your life, Satan is deeply satisfied.
If someone throws rocks at your dreams, and that gets you down, and makes you give up on that next step, and leads you to let go of the Kingdom Centered dream, Satan is doing his happy dance.
If you are stuck, isolated, and living in “so-so” mode, Satan is rejoicing. The thief has done his thing.
But before Satan, there is God – Jesus, the Creator, Sustainer, and Holder of all things – and He has a plan.
God’ greatest hope for you is to display HIS magnificence for all to see.
To boldly proclaim his magnificent message to every person along your path.
To make disciples, of all nations, and share the magnificent, brilliant, altogether undeniable hope of Jesus with the world.
Tell me how you show His glory without standing in a magnificent life?
Not a perfect life. Not a painless life. Not an easy life.
A. MAGNIFICENT. LIFE. in Him.
That no matter the day, the trials, the exhaustion, the temptations, the not being able to see what is next – that you lean into Him, and allow Him to shape in you the belief, that He has come to give you LIFE – and that LIFE is abundant, full, overflowing, and extremely
I want God’s choice for my life – it is a magnificent life, and it is good – even when it is wrecked with challenges, and toppled with pain.
I want the LIFE Jesus died to give me – and I want to avoid mediocrity in all things, and not be tempted to settle in for the lesser than of Satan’s plan for my future.
I want to be comfortable with living in uncomfortable moments, so that His magnificence will be remarkable, for all the world to see – in the life of Jenny Price – his daughter, his treasured, cherished child.
I want to display JESUS so boldly – that the world, the church, the onlookers all around me – do not know how to explain what only God can make happen in our lives – and in the lives of those He chooses to touch through our overflow of Him.
